The short answer in most cases is YES.
Scratched glass can be restored by resurfacing the glass and buffing it out with sanding and polishing pads. Currently we do not offer this service but we do know a couple contractors in town that do.
Cost of resurfacing glass and removing scratches is generally about 50% of the cost of replacing the glass with new. So if the piece of glass would cost $600 to replace, then it would be roughly $300 to just have the scratches buffed out. However it can take a up to a few hours for a pane to be restored and tends to be quite finicky work.
