Canada Day

Taking place July 1 in downtown Kelowna’s waterfront parks, as well as at Prospera Place, this free festival is held to celebrate our nation’s birthday. The Canada Day celebrations bring over 60,000 people to downtown Kelowna each year.

There are more than 50 family-friendly activities and performances taking place throughout the day from 11:00 am – 10:30 pm, which is sure to entertain festival-goers of all ages.

Kelowna's Rock Festival
JULY 12 - 14, 2024

The outdoor festival takes place just outside Prospera Place, just minutes from Okanagan Lake and within walking distance to all of beautiful Downtown Kelowna’s amenities and accommodations. The interior of the building will also be open for patrons to come cool off with full facilities, concession stands, and a fully licensed restaurant. The festival grounds will offer food trucks, drinks, and VIP access. Patrons are permitted to bring in their own lawn chairs for this all-ages event.

This year’s lineup includes Tom Cochrane, Theory of Deadman, Our Lady Peace, and 54-40. More band announcements are to come, so stay tuned!

Fans of all ages enjoy the sunshine, food trucks, evening light shows, and of course, Rock N’ Roll!

Chic Picnic

At the last minute, the secret location is revealed to thousands of friends who have all been patiently waiting to learn where “Dîner en Blanc” will take place. Thousands of people, dressed all in white, and conducting themselves with the greatest decorum, elegance, and etiquette, all meet for a mass “chic picnic” in a public space.

Taking place in July, this elegant dinner takes over an unknown location, be it a park, a vineyard, a farm, or another equally beautiful Kelowna setting, to create the most spectacular evening.
